This is in regards to my previous posting:

I too have felt the brunt of this subject. In my hastiness to respond to
the original letter, I did not take into consideration the feelings of
other parties either directly, or indirectly, involved.

My intent was not to lambaste other companies, nor was it to toot my own
horn (or rather, my employer's own horn). 

Please take note, that I spoke for myself, and not anyone else. But, this
does not diminish the responsibility I bear for starting this, because when
anyone posts to the Net, they end up being representative of their company
or institution whether they like it or not.

For all this, I apologize.
