Does ISC's High-Performance Disk Driver actually do such things as
making a request on the SCSI bus and then disconnecting, thus gaining
speed advantage when multiple disks are present?

I had thought so, but some "Unexpected Disconnection" messages on the
console made me question it.

Anyone know for sure?
