   Hmm... I was just typing away, using WinQVT.  All of a sudden my 
  background changed from purple to red.  The title bars are red now too.

  My Setup:

  20mhz 80386
  2 megs
  40 meg HD
  SuperVGA (800x600x16)
  
  I have 5,558k free according to windows.  40% free resources (should be more
  than that)

  The change appears to be permanent.  Ie.  I have to use control panel to 
  get the color scheme back.
