The VGA driver supplied with Win3.0 contains 286 specific opcodes.
I need to run Windows on a fast XT clone with a paradise VGA (Amstrad 2086)

It works with the mono VGA driver (but only in mono :-( )
It works with the win2.1 VGA colour driver (grotty 8-colour mode :-( )
It EVEN works with the paradise 640*400*256 driver
                    (256 colours :-) but as for speed :-((( )

All I want is a standard VGA driver without the 286 codes in it.
Somebody must have done one!!!
