This is probably in the FAQ list but I couldn't locate it on
my site so... (anyone who has the FAQ list please mail it
to me)

I need to know what I need to start programming with MS windows.
The minimalist solution (compiler+library+books) and what things
are usefull; additional programing tools/libraries/toolkits/books
and maybe even what they do?

I have done programming on Macintosh and fiddled with X-windows.
