I tried to install X386 1.1 on SCO Open Desk Top (the kernel is SCO SysV
Rel.3.2).  I got the following errors:-

(by a normal user)
$ X -debug
Creating TCP socket: No such file or directory

(followed by register dump, memory dump, and system halted)

(by root)

Does anyone run X386 1.1 successfully on SCO platform?  And is there a
binary distribution of X386 1.1 specifically for SCO?
