Newsgroups: rec.audio.high-end Subject: Wanted: LS-10x Input Transformer Message-ID: <10053@uwm.edu> Date: 8 Mar 91 13:37:45 GMT Sender: news@uwm.edu Lines: 14 Approved: tjk@csd4.csd.uwm.edu Originator: tjk@csd4.csd.uwm.edu Does anyone know where I can get a UTC LS-10x input transformer cheap, or possibly free since I am a student (and therefore, by definition, poor)? I recently did a high-quality mic pre-amp for a class project which used an LS-10x, but the prof wants the xformer back when the class is over. New LS-10x's run for $300 each, lots of 6 only and they're not the same anyway because they threw out the original blueprints a few years ago by mistake... Any suggestions as to other suitable xformers would be great. I want something flat from 2Hz-50kHz, 1:10 turns ratio, 600 ohm input imp. Thanks, Frank Franko@juliet.caltech.edu
