Collins, CO Lines: 37 Another remote control problem. Occasionally, my tv will not respond to my remote. The non response happens after about 30 button pushes. Not always the same buttons. Neither will my VCR, so I am assuming the problem is in the remote. I don't think it is the contacts as when one button won't work they all won't work. I thought it was a weak battery. I replaced it with an Everready Energizer (alkaline). Same thing. Here's the good part... Detaching the battery and reattaching it to the terminals (9v battery) ALWAYS fixes the problem. I kept track of this for a week to be sure. It is a Magnavox remote, TV, and VCR. The remote and tv are 3 yrs old. Any help ??? -- Keith A.
