Kinney This is in response to the post by beucler@ksr.com. ASROC is essentially a rocket launched torpedo. It was originally designed to carry nuclear depth charges, but they switched them over to torps. One Lutjens class destroyer I was on once had Hagar the Horrible painted on it holding a missile in his arms :) The Germans love that guy. The General Ranks are: Brigadier Major Leutenant General General of the Armies In ROTC we learned that to remember the General ranks, just remember the mnemonic "Be My Little Girl". It's the only way I can keep them straight. Mark Kinney kinney@wku.edu PS the "it" in the first paragraph refers to the ASROC launcher, NOT the ship:)
