   In response to recent requests for Common Lisp versions of the mini
programs from "Inside Computer Understanding" (Schank & Riesbeck,
1981), I have posted some of these programs for anonymous FTP.  To
those of you who responded to my original posting and have waited so
patiently, I apologize for the delay in getting the code out.

   You can get the programs via FTP from cs.umd.edu, in directory
pub/schank.  Let me know if the instructions in the README file are
not clear.  Enjoy!
