A physician friend of mine is considering a job in western Kenya.  That
area has electricity but I imagine limited communications infrastructure.
He would like access to various large medical libraries from there.  Does
anyone know the status of communications in that area?  Assuming the worst,
would it be possible to run a small satellite link into the Internet?
I've heard good things about VSAT technology but never worked with it.
