Specifically I am working on generating a data buffer of pixel coordinates of the outline, or profile, of images captured by a CCD camera and frame buffer. I perform standard graphics solutions such as rotation, scaling and perspective correction to the resulting data. I would like information on techniques such as low pass filtering of the data, or smoothing, which reduce the affects of "noisy" pixels. In particular I am interested in techniques which do not consume valuable processing time as this is a real time application. Looking forward to hearing from all you graphics wiz kids! __________________. _--_|\ .______________________________ Mike McGinty | / \ | Internet : mcginty@aldetec.oz.au Aldetec Pty Ltd | *-->\_.--._/ | ACSnet : mcginty@aldetec.oz Western Australia | v | Voice : +61-9-4451888 _________< Due to a lack of imagination, this space is blank ! >__________
