I've had a somewhat similar problem with my VGA card. I've got an Oak SVGA card with 256Kb VRAM (up to 800x600x16) and a Tatung 1496 monitor (up to 1024x768 interlaced). The combination absolutely refuses to go into 132x43 or 132x25 text modes without invoking the graphics mode in DOS. I also can't get these modes in Lotus 123 v2.01, which the manual swears up and down should work. Again, any comments/drivers will be greatly appreciated. Troy A.
