Message-ID: <235@ars2.UUCP> Date: 14 Mar 91 00:58:21 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Automated Retail Systems Lines: 26 I have the opportunity to "Buy" (for free realy) an IBM 4019 laser printer. It has a Postscript option and a printer sharing option. Can I use this printer as a postscript printer under SCO-ODT unix? Will the printer sharing option interfere with Unix operation? (Some people in this organization want to use some dos programs to print.) I want to lock the printer into postscript mode and let dos users access it in that mode and only when the Unix box in not currently using the printer. Since I have 10 terminals on Unix, I don't want one or two dos users to be able to take control of the printer and leave everyone else hanging. Please respond via E-mail as I can't always read this group. briank@ars2.uucp uunet!camco!ars2!briank Thank You Brian -- | D.
