 I thought I remembered seeing a way to dump the frame buffer
 memory back out of a laser printer.. but I haven't been able to find
 either a postscript variable to print, or a dump command
 in the doc I've dug thru (the 4 volume postscript set and the 
 Apple LaserWriter II stuff).  The question for the net is:

  Is there a postsript variable/command or a method that dumps the
  Apple Laserwriter bit image buffer back out the communications port?

 I'm looking for some method to take a postscript file and get it
 rendered into bits at 300x300 or 100x100 dots per inch..  I'm trying
 to avoid using non-Adobe provided interpreters (e.g. ralpage,
 ghostscript) to get these bits ..
