We're drawing the layout in MAGIC which can produce CIF files. Does anyone know of a CIF extractor that correctly deals with the varying capacitance of routing lines? Our current extractor only uses a single value for metal1, metal2, or poly capacitance. However, these values can vary greatly depending on what lies beneath the given element. For example, metal2 over metal1 has nearly twice the capacitance of metal2 over substrate. Any pointers to literature, products, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott
