You can use ~:folder to change folders, then ~i the message list.  You
can't do this if you started the program in mail-sending mode (by giving
an address on the command line), only if you used the internal "mail" or
"reply" commands.

Use at your own risk -- remember that changing folders may do an update.

You could also ~:merge, adding the new folder to the current one, then ~i,
then later delete all the merged-in messages before updating.  Won't work
on read-only folders (but of course, ~:folder does not update a read-only
folder, so one or the other is always usable).

Completely self-serving plug follows:

Z-Mail not only has a ~z escape to "suspend" your composition and return
you to the command mode, but also supports having more than one folder
open at a time, so you don't have to update just to access messages from
another folder.
