(Mac) Message-ID: <1991Mar14.190905.26899@gorm.ruc.dk> Date: 14 Mar 91 19:09:05 GMT Organization: Roskilde University, Denmark Lines: 13 I need some advice before I install MacMinix on my system (assuming I get my keyboard problem fixed). The manual explains how to set it up with a RAM disk and floppies, and with a harddisk only. Are there any advantages in combining RAM-disk and harddisk? I was thinking of putting /bin (and maybe some of /usr/bin) on a RAM-disk *if* it would speed things up. Or should I just increase the cache from the Chooser? Thanks, Jan B. Andersen
