Hi,


some days ago a friend told me, that it is possible to format diskettes
with MSDOS and use them on my 386/ix machine as if they were formatted 
there.
I tried the same with Coherent and it works.

Now I save a lot of time in formatting.


But: I always use /dev/rf??, so don't know if it's work when you want
to create a file system on a dos-formatted diskette.
Better try before you blame me.
