Get DR DOS 5.0. This is an MS-DOS compatible OS that allows you to selectively load device drivers from config.sys. Simply prefix a '?' character to a "device=" line in config.sys and DR DOS will ask you if you want to load the driver at boot time. For example: ?DEVICE=ansi.sys will cause DR DOS to prompt with: DEVICE=ANSI.SYS (Y/N) ? -- Jerry Gardner, NJ6A Altos Computer Systems UUCP: {sun|pyramid|sco|amdahl|uunet}!altos!jerry 2641 Orchard Parkway Internet: jerry@altos.com San Jose, CA 95134 Help stamp out vi in our lifetime.
