The shareware version is DBase III file compatible and comes in small model only. Registration entitles you to support for all memory models. In answer to your Paradox Engine question, the answer is yes, it's available, and costs around $200.00 from Borland. It is primarily designed to allow your C program to manipulate Paradox tables. It is not intended to be Paradox in the form of C libraries. It lacks query-by-example and many of the other Paradox embellishments.
