We are intersted in bringing large (50+) Macintosh sites up using an AFP-Compliant file server on a UNIX box (such as Sun SPARC II). The solutions that have been brought to our attention in the past included uShare, RU-CAP and PacerShare, all which have their own strengths and weaknesses. In this week's MacWeek, a product called EtherShare by Helios Software is mentioned. This product is new to the US, but has been shipping in Europe for a number of months. Does anyone have any experience with this product? In particular, I am interested in performance and configuration information on large Mac networks. I'll be glad to summarize all replies and repost them here if there is an interest. Jeff Kyser jkyser@well.sf.ca.us PH: 213-417-4940 SBS, Inc. 76040.241@compuserve.com FAX: 213-417-5364
