Keywords: pc-niu Message-ID: <24494@hydra.gatech.EDU> Date: 16 Mar 91 23:58:51 GMT Organization: Georgia Institute of Technology Lines: 20 NOTE: I am not sure if this is the correct group to post in, but because I could not decide on another group to post the question concerning a network card, I am posting here. I am interested in getting a program that will operate with a PC-NIU Network Card for the PC. Currently, I am using Cogitate (selfmade program created/written at Georgia Tech) to connect with the mainframe. If anyone knows about this card, and a program that allows "TRUE" 9600 or faster file transfer with the net please reply. As of now, I must enter KERMIT, which transmits about 1200bps or slower even though it is networked at 19,200bps.... Preferably looking for a program that will support XMODEM, YMODEM, ZMODEM. Thank you. -- John W Matus Major EE Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{allegra,amd,hplabs,ut-ngp}!gatech!prism!gt1637a Internet: gt1637a@prism.gatech.edu
