You get a 1 meg machine with no SCSI, no hard drive case or powersupply, no networking, no ability to use SIMM memory (cheapest), an OS that may or may not work with your software (you have to individually match your software to a reliable OS), no ability to add IBM compatibility for $150, no 1.4 meg drive, no detachable keyboard (you must use the Amiga KB), 4 (he he) channel sound, and not a respectable spreadsheet in sight. Ethics? Let's deal with Commodore corporate if you want to talk about dumb. But are you saying Apple has no ethics because they are trying to protect their intellectual property? hmm.
