Larry had worked at Xerox for some years before Apple - I recall his articles on Smalltalk which appeared in Byte [remember when Byte used to devote each year's August issue to a new computer language... Smalltalk was in one of those (Aug 1980 I think off the top of my head). I remember it had another beautiful Robert Tinney cover drawing.
