Apparently I have the great honor of being the first one to report defective Lemmings disks. After a week of playing, suddenly the game would not get past the "Expansion Ram.." screen..it just flashes on and off, accessing the disk every cycle. I write protected the disks 2 days after I got it, as someone here suggested. I have been carefull to cold start the machine every time I play the game, so I don't think there are any viruses here. I called Psygnosis in Massechuesetts(sorry, Dukakis fans) and they told me I was the first to report anything of the kind. I guess that probably means I have done something stupid. I can't completely eliminate the possibility that one of my kids did something like get fingerprints of the disk surface. Now, it is just a matter of time before I find how good the Psygnosis disk warranty is. -- "You can lead a horse|=| UUCP: ames!att!pacbell! \ to water, but a pencil |=| pyramid!sun!pacbell! -=>sactoh0!aaalexis must be lead" |=|{ucbvax!}ucdavis!csusac! / - Stan Laurel |=| INTERNET: aaalexis@sactoh0.SAC.CA.USA
