4 serial and 4 parallel (maximum).

All information is on abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov in /incoming/amiga/ioexpansion.lzh.
 It was published in the February Amazing Computing. If you can find a copy of
the issue, it would be wise to buy it to get a nice hardcopy (and it's good
relief from AmigaWorld fluff).

In Europe the information may be FTP'ed from nic.funet.fi (/pub/new/SerialEx.dm
s).
