There is a new (March 26, 1991) article about 16-17" monitors in PC Magazine You might want to read it. Their top honors go to the NEC 4D (list - $1499) and the Idek MF-5117 (list - $1795). They say that the Idek has a wider range of signal compatibility and both analog and digital input. I am supposed to be getting info from either Samsung or Sanyo (don't remember which) about their new 17" monitor that has the same list as the 16" Nec 4D. Their add stated that they are using a flat face screen. I believe that they have licensed this from Zenith. I remember seeing an article about Zenith licensing their flat-tension mask technology to one of the Korean or Japanese makers. If this is true then the monitor should be a very superb one. john gay.
