I am looking for a *cheap* but usable way to backup my 210 megs of storage on the A3000 to tape. I looked into Syquest drives which use 44 meg cartridges, but the cheapest I could find were $450 + $79/cartridge which came to nearly $800 with tax for 4 cartridges. This is the price of a new Quantum 210 drive which I could use to backup the 200 megs I already have !! :-) (if I can fit a third drive..) Could someone post or email me with the names of some cheap tape backup units which work with the A3000? Does *any* SCSI tape backup work? Could I buy a SCSI tape backup for a PC and expect it to work with the A3000? Any good comments or negative reports will be appreciated. I will summarize to the net if there is sufficient interest. Thanks very much, Veenu Rashid vrr@cbnewsj.att.com
