Is there an implementation of PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) for the
DN 3000/4500?

If so, what are its limitations/requirements ?
How does it compare to SLIP (performancewise, ...) ?
(for SLIP a DN4500 is recommended/needed for ftp at 9600 bps...)

On an aside, does anyone know if the 5500 (is this the correct name for the
68040 upgrade of the 4500?) sports faster serial lines and what its top-
speed SLIP (and possibly PPP) rates are?
