I am not fond of Sears either, but I go through there every now and then, and I see people who stop and play with the computers in the electronics department. This gets people thinking, or at least some type of exposure to computers and it might as well be an Apple. Right now all they have are IBM clones. I say toss an Apple or two in there. The more people buy the machine, the more software we keep getting, and we may even get some developers back into the Apple II market.
