If they start selling Apple II's through Sears or some other department store, that doesn't mean that Sears now owns the Apple II, wouldn't it just mean that Sears SELLS the Apple II, just like they sell the IBM PS/1? IBM still 'owns' the computer. IBM still supports the computer. The only thing different is that you can walk into Sears and get it, instead of ONLY being able to go to an IBM dealership to get one. If this is the way Apple is planning on doing it (I doubt they'll do it though), then it would definitely increase the volume of II's sold and get us some real support. ---------------------------------------- Michael J.
