Lines: 26 Does anyone know whether DecPHIGS is fully functional on a baseline DecStation 5000 model 120? This has no extra graphics hardware and is comparable with the 3100 (except faster). According to DecDirect software catalogue, DecPHIGS 2-D support is based on DecWindows (X) but its 3-D support is based on PEX. PEX is supplied with DecPHIGS on high-cost graphics machines (the PEX is accessible only from PHIGS though). But what about the lower-cost machines? Does PEX work on these? We're not looking for performance here - just the ability to run PHIGS for teaching purposes. Please email any responses - experience of PHIGS on a 3100 would be interesting. I need to know this yesterday. -- Robert Evans, Dept of Computing Maths, University of Wales College of Cardiff, PO Box 916, Cardiff, Wales, UK, CF2 4YN.
