Is it a 'handheld'? Or both? I'm not trying to be difficult here, but I'd like to see all of the msdos-based "palmtops" (current buzzword) together somewhere, and comp.sys.hp[calc].jaguar doesn't quite do it. Of course, there is a real possibility that the Jaguar will be so successful that the others will disappear, but I think it's more likely to turn out like the laptop market, with no one dominant player (ie, none big enough to justify its own newsgroup), and most of the discussion centering on whatever is different from "desktop" msdos (batteries, LCD's, RAMcards). This *might* be another argument for staying separated from the comp.sys.hp hierarchy, depending on whether you think the Jaguar is likely to be discussed wherever the hp calculators are discussed (I'm not entirely convinced that will be the case, but we'll find out soon enough). If not, then it doesn't really matter. ================== zaphod@madnix.UUCP (Ron Bean) {harvard|rutgers|ucbvax}!uwvax!astroatc!nicmad!madnix!zaphod
