The 256K RAM cards that you can find for synthesizers are 256K _bits_,
which is 32K bytes.  The RAM cards that HP, Atari, etc., sell for their
machines are rated in bytes, so the Korg 256K bit card is the same as the
Atari 32K byte card (for example).
