To use an IDE drive, you will need to replace the BIOS with one dated 4/90 or later. And, you will need an adaptor card (only about $20 for single hard drive, $50 for dual hard drive/dual floppy.) Advice: Dump your "salesman" and call Hard Drives Intl 1-800-234-3475. Good service, excellent prices, very knowledgeable salespeople. They don't sell BIOS, you will have to look to other companies for that.
