However, the price difference between MCA boards and AT-bus boards has been gradually diminishing; I have now seen single serial port boards in the $60-70 range and multi-port boards ~$100. I can find a serial port board for an AT for $15, but the cheapest one I've found I could trust ran me $35. MCA boards are still too expensive, but then again I've never had a problem with an MCA board in terms of performance or reliability.
