I have one of those multi-scan monitors.  Mine is made by Mitsubishi.
It has a problem.  Whenever the text mode is reset, the monitor can't
find the scan rate and the image is totally garbled.  My workaround is
to reboot the monitor.  Luckily the power switch is on the front, but
this still stinks.  Anything to look into?

The model number listed on the back is AUM-1381A
