I am particularly looking for something that doesn't need MS Windows, but can work with it if Windows is installed. Does such a beast exist? If not, can anyone recommend a good text-based (in other words: non-Windows) windowing library package? Actually, I might be interested in working with Windows, so Windows libraries would be likewise appreciated. Also, I'm looking for a good dBase or Paradox library for dealing with those files. Any comments are greatly appreciated.
