So, I'll ask again: Are the Adobe font files on the > Macintosh compatible with the PC, and vice versa? (Ignore the Mac header.) > Can I use my Mac Adobe fonts on a PC, say, using ATM? Not as such. The Mac stores most of the font file in the resource fork, while the PC stores everything in one file. I had problems converting Mac format fonts to PC format a while back, and managed to get a lot of info about the formats via the net. If you want to know what the different formats look like, I can mail you details of them (if I can still find them :-)), as well as a quick C hack to un-Mac a Mac format file. This converts to vanilla Postscript, _not_ DOS AFM format, but does allow downloading to printers. Send me mail if you want any of the above. paul ---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=---=--- Paul Nash Free Range Computer Systems cc paul@frcs.UUCP ...!uunet!m2xenix!frcs!paul
