Hi, netters:

I talked to a 3rd party vendor yesterday and found out that it may be as
soon as next week, a T1000SE/XE owner can install either a 4 meg or a
8 meg memory in his/her machine.

This is not a typo!  The vendor has found a way to make the machine to
recognise the additional ram above 3 meg (Toshiba's official ram limit
on SE/XE).  So, you may consider to hold off buying a 2 meg ram card
now and wait for the prices of these 4 and 8 meg cards to drop. :-)
