Keywords: fgrep, grep, MacWrite Message-ID: <1991Mar16.194249.27312@bronze.ucs.indiana.edu> Date: 16 Mar 91 19:42:49 GMT Sender: news@bronze.ucs.indiana.edu (USENET News System) Distribution: usa Organization: Indiana University, Bloomington IN. Lines: 19 We have alot of MacWrite II files, and occasionally we need to go through them all to find and change occurences of a string. Does anyone know of a program that can do this? If it could just find all of the occurences, that would probably be good enough! If the program could search the way that Unix's grep does, that would be super, but even if it could only search for a string rather than a pattern, it would help us alot. We don't mind paying $ for a program like this. Please reply to huntley@copper.ucs.indiana.edu and I will summarize and post the responses. Thanks! --Haydn -- ;; ***************************************************** ;; * Haydn Huntley huntley@copper.ucs.indiana.edu * ;; *****************************************************
