While this computer is a joy to use the internal 40Mb drive is very noisy when it is just spinning. The head movement is very quiet but the drive motor is quite loud. The drive that was shipped with the system was so loud (I could hear it from two rooms away in my home) I returned it to the dealer for to be replaced. This second drive is less noisy but it is still quite loud. The dealer says "all of these new slim drives are real noisy". But I can't believe Apple would pick a device that is such a nuisance. Do any IIsi users out there in net-land notice this problem? What would be the most effective way to communicate this problem to Apple directly? ||||disclaimer: these are my opinions alone||||
