Lines: 16 When I got my IIsi about 2 months ago, the mic worked fine and I sampled a few system beeps. Since then I didn't use it (at all) because there is not yet much app software for it. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I gave it a try and the output of the mic-output icon is pegged at maximum and the sound played back seems silent (with an initial pop at the start of the sample). I guess my audio-in port is blown somehow (since unplugging the mic is a no-op), but I'm hoping that someone on the net has seen (or heard :-) this before and has a simple fix. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian McClendon bam@rudedog.SGI.COM ...!uunet!sgi!rudedog!bam 415-335-1110 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
