I just started using it (over HC 1.2**) the other day. I converted one of my old HC 1.25 stacks and was modifying it when I ran into some weird problems. I had a bkgnd field called "result", and a script that put stuff in it, but for some reason, the stuff wasn't being put there. I knew the stuff was there, it just would refuse to put it in my field. when I tried doing a 'put "hello" into bkgnd fld "result"' from the message window, to my suprise nothing happened! Then, I tried it on other bkgnd fields, and it worked fine. It only screwed up on this one field. I could type in it, I tried moving, resizing, re-naming it, and finally, making a new field by the same name.. NOTHING worked. Fields on other cards, and the old fields on this card, were working fine. Well, this is the REAL weird part... I repeatedly hit return, executing the generic put command in the message box, and it started working! Then, later, after some stuff had been put in the field, I executed the command 'put empty into bkgnd fld "result"', it displayed what had been in the field before its present contents, when I did my put empty again, it went backwards, displaying what had been previously, before each 'put', in this field. Anyways, it seems to be working ok now, and I can't reproduce any of the above mentioned events. I started to seriously worry about moving any stacks to HC 2.0.. I really don't like those type of bugs. Anyone ever had an experience like this? --RS
