I need a new type of hypercard 2.0 field.  It needs to do the following
things:
  1.  the value isn't saved at all (no write to disk)
  2.  putting into it doesn't change the current selection
  3.  it can be write only
  4.  it must appear on the host card (no xternal windows)
  5.  it can write over any buttons, fields, drawings behind it if that
         makes it faster/easier to write.

Okay, guys at Apple/Claris, let me know when it is done.  :) :) :)

Does anyone know of an xcmd that can do something like this?  I don't
know if I can just draw on the card or not because of the neato things
that hypercard does in the background (all the layers).
