One day, for no apparent reason, the stack began shutting down with a window that said "Unexpected error 5454" with the only button available being "quit". Further investigation showed that: "mark cards where" produced the "Unexpected error 5454" card # 349 did not exist ("no such card" on a go to card 349 command), the "go to card 350" or "go to card 351" command would produce the "unexpected error 5454" Pressing the right arrow key when on card #348 results in no action Pressing the left arrow key when on card #352 results in "Unexpected error 5454" Clearly something major is dead. Perhaps internal pointers are gone? Card numbers are supposed to be consecutive and always renumbered when a card is deleted etc. Copying the stack in the finder does not resolve it. I am presently writing a button to copy the unbroken cards and paste them in another stack. Any hints about why this would have occured?
