Text only pages are spit out at around one every 40 seconds, and if you do background printing the speed drops to about one page per every four minutes. (This done on an SE/30, by the way...) I suspect either the TrueType fonts and the serial connection are to blame for this lackluster speed. Printing a TIFF image to the LS and to an NTX takes the same amount of time.
