I've downloaded these, and wish to use Zmodem ] protocol for file transfers to/from at unix box at ] school (which has rz/sz also). This may sound dumb, but ] how do I do it?? I've tried logging in with Kermit, ] issuing a Sz (send) command on the remote host, quiting ] kermit, and issuing: I use zmodem by logging in with tip and using the ~$ command. You need to get versions of sz and rz that support the -1 option. You should also create a .tiprc that includes the command that causes tip to use a Bourne shell subshell when it runs sz or rz. Using the default csh causes complaints about permissions of some sort. ] 3) tip problems -- I set up tip with no problems. However, I don't ] seem to be able to get the ~< ~> ~t or ~p to ] work. These seem to hang tip. Am I doing ] something stupid? I've seen the same behavior under 2.0. -- John Garnett University of Texas at Austin garnett@cs.utexas.edu Department of Computer Science Austin, Texas
