I discovered a bug in Cmix which we were previously getting 
away with, but is not forgiven under 2.0/040.  In Minc/p.y
add a definition of double for atof() and in sys, remake
m.o and cmix.o.  You can also just get the new dist from 
pub/music at princeton.edu.  The symptom of this error 
is that Minc returns garbage.

My apologies, but composers are often sloppy programmers...
(at least in my case)

I also have a new version of ein there which allows for stereo 
output and has several bug fixes.
